Commandments of GOD: 401-500

  1. So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander.- 1 Tim 5:14
  2. The elders who direct the affairs of the church well worthy of double honour, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.- 1 Tim 5:17
  3. Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.- 1 Tim 5:20
  4. Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth supposing that gain is godliness; from such withdraw thy self.- 1 Tim 6:5
  5. Man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.- 1 Tim 6:11
  6. Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches.- 1 Tim 6:17
  7. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works to be generous and ready to share storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.- 1 Tim 6:18,19
  8. Guard what has been entrusted to your care, turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge.- 1 Tim 6:20
  9. Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others.- 1 Tim 5:22
  10. Join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.- 2 Tim 1:8
  11. Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.- 2 Tim 1:13
  12. Guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.- 2 Tim 1:14
  13. Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.- 2 Tim 2:1
  14. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.- 2 Tim 2:15
  15. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.- 1 Tim 5:8
  16. Who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. - 1 Tim 2:4
  17. You will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God. - 1 Tim 3:15
  18. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.- 2 Tim 2:2
  19. But avoid all empty and useless talk, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness.- 2 Tim 2:16
  20. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth.- 2 Tim 2:25
  21. He who is careless of conduct will die.- Prov. 19:16
  22. But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.- 2 Tim 3:1
  23. He must ask in faith without any doubting.- James 1:6
  24. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing my brothers, this should not be.- James 3:10
  25. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.- James 3:13
  26. Grieve, mourn and wail change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.- James 4:9
  27. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it.- James 3:14
  28. For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God.- 2 Tim 1:6
  29. Open wide your hearts also.- 2 Cor. 6:13
  30. Be filled with the spirit.- Eph. 5:18
  31. My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke.- Prov. 3:11
  32. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked.- Prov. 3:25
  33. Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.- Prov. 3:27
  34. Do not plot harm against your neighbour, who lives trustfully near you.- Prov. 3:29
  35. Do not accuse a man for no reason when he has done you no harm.- Prov. 3:30
  36. Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways.- Prov. 3:31
  37. Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.- Prov. 4:5
  38. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.- Prov. 4:6
  39. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom though it cost all you have, get under- standing.- Prov. 4:7
  40. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.- Prov. 8:33
  41. Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.- Prov. 23:12
  42. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.- Prov. 4:13
  43. Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!- Prov. 6:6
  44. Do not be with heavy drinkers of wine, or with gluttonous eaters of meat. - Prov. 23:20
  45. Let your foot rarely be in your neighbour’s house, or he will become weary of you and hate you. - Prov. 25:17
  46. Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, cease from your consideration of it.- Prov. 23:4
  47. Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.- Prov. 27:1
  48. Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD.- Prov. 23:17
  49. Do not say “I will do to them have done to me; i’ll pay them back for what they did.- Prov. 24:29
  50. Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered.- Prov. 22:24

The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
